PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To beautifully finish the appearance regardless of the thickness of a paper bundle to be bookbound. SOLUTION: In a face paper attaching process section, a bottom plate 1 and nipping plates 2a and 2b are provided. The driving force of a driving motor 5 is transmitted to a vertically moving block 3 through a first sprocket 6, a chain 9, a second sprocket 7, a cam 10, a first cam follower 11a, a lever 12, a second cam follower 11b, and a rod 4, and the bottom plate 1 and the nipping plates 2a and 2b are raised to a nipping level. Then, the driving force of a motor 15 for a fine adjustment is transmitted to a first gear 14a through a transmission shaft 16, a worm 17, a wheel 18 and a second gear 14b, and a gear shaft 13 is formed at a location which is eccentric to a lever shaft 12a, and a fine adjustment of the nipping level is performed by changing the rocking fulcrum of the lever 12. |
