PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fluidizing soil cement, capable of preparing soil cement retaining its fluidity for a long period of time and affording high mechanical strength after hardened, and to obtain a superplasticizer to be used in the above method. SOLUTION: This method for fluidizing soil cement comprises using a combination of a low-molecular weight polymer with a carboxylic acid or monofunctional salt thereof as the main constitutive monomer unit with an alkali metal carbonate. The other objective superplasticizer for soil cement consists of a low-molecular weight polymer with a carboxylic acid or monofunctional salt thereof as the main constitutive monomer unit and an alkali metal carbonate.
