PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clear dust off and polish furniture or furnishings without using a detergent by forming the back and palm sides of a bag-shaped body into which a hand can be inserted of a fabric, made of extra fine fiber filaments and providing strip-shaped small pieces on the periphery. SOLUTION: This bag-shaped cleaning device 1 is formed by constituting a back side 2 and/or a palm side 3 of the bag-shaped body of a fabric 4 made up of extra fine fiber filaments, and strip-shaped small pieces 5 are attached to the edge thereof and take on a round form here. The bag-shaped cleaning device 1 is protected against having an odor stuck or growth of bacteria by subjecting it to bacteriostatic or antibacterial treatment and kept clean. Although detergents may be used even without particularly using a detergent, it exhibits intended wiping, cleaning and polishing effects, and effectively cleans persistent stain by impregnating with a small amount of water and a decline in its wiping performance can be restored by washing it, enabling it to be used repeatedly.
