BACKFILLING INJECTION DEVICE FOR SHIELD EXCAVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backfilling injection device for a new shield excavator capable of previously avoiding the operational failure by effectively spreading grease all over the whole sliding surface of a sliding piston. SOLUTION: Grease pipe 20 for supplying grease is inserted/arranged in a sliding piston 4 for reciprocating in a through passage 8, and the tip of the grease pipe 20 is connected to a piston part 6 on the tip of the sliding piston 4 to inject the grease into the sliding surface side of this piston part 6. Thus, since the grease is sufficiently supplied to the sliding surface of the piston part 6, the grease effectively spreads all over the whole sliding surface of the sliding piston 6 to previously prevent operational failure of the sliding piston 6 by seizure.
