PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence/illuminant instrument.device useful in all industries.manufacturing fields and a method for obtaining fluorescence and luminescence therefrom. SOLUTION: (1) This fluorescence/illuminant emits fluorescent and luminescent. To be concrete, an emitting substrate, e.g. luciferin, anthracene or their derivatives are cited. (2) A fluorescent/luminescent instrument contains or is coated with this fluorescent/luminescent substance. (3) The method for obtaining fluorescence and luminescence from the fluorescent/luminescent instrument includes (a) a process for obtaining fluorescence by irradiating a light on the fluorescent/luminescent substance and (b) a process for obtaining luminescence from the fluorescent/luminescent instrument. (4) Fluorescent/luminescent device is installed with a fluorescent/luminescent unit and a light-irradiating unit. (5) The method for obtaining fluorescence and luminescence includes (a) a process for obtaining the fluorescence by irradiating a light from the light-irradiating unit to the fluorescent/luminescent unit and (b) a process for obtaining the luminescence from the fluorescent/luminescent unit.
