PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition that has a large mechanical quality factor and shows small reduction in the mechanical quality factor by the high electric field driving and provide a small size and thin piezoelectric transducer. SOLUTION: The objective piezoelectric ceramic composition has the composition formula: (PbuA1-u)v (Sb1/2Nb1/2)xTiyZrz}2-vO3 where the elements corresponding to A in the formula is at least one selected from the group (A) consisting of La, Nd, Pr, Bi}, u, v, x, y and z in the formula satisfy the formulas and contains a manganese compound in an amount of 0.5-2 mol% calculated as MnO2. |
