PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer whereby names of label formats can be set so that set contents of the label formats can be made sure for every label format number. SOLUTION: In the label printer, a plurality of printing formats are set for every format number beforehand, and one of the printing formats is selected to print product names, prices or the like to labels in the printing format. The label printer is constituted of a setting means 12 for setting names of label formats for every format number, and a memory means 13 for storing for every format number the names of formats set by the setting means.
