PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the impairing of manufacturing efficiency without the generation of cracks in the body or the flange part or a gap in the joined part by baking an unbaked molding for the flange part to an unbaked molding for the body while the molding for the unbaked flange part is stuck to the molding for the unbaked body. SOLUTION: A molding 8 for the body is made to stand in the center of a form 9 with the end part to which a flange is to be joined, set under the molding 8, and a green ceramic material 11 is charged into the periphery of the molding 8 for the body and is molded under pressure using a press 10 from above. In this process, the molding of a molding for the flange part and the adhesion thereof to the molding 8 for the body are performed simultaneously to improve the dimensional precision and dispense with the finish fabrication. Next the body and the flange part, both being of the same material, are simultaneously subjected to baking so that the difference in the degree of shrinkage between the body and the flange part is eliminated. Further, both are directly brought into tight contact with each other without the use of a joinint material and then are baked to improve the adhesive properties. In addition, both are separately molded to simplify the molding process and thereby finish their baking step at once. Thus it is possible to avoid the generation of cracks in the body or the flange part and also the generation of a gap in the joined part and prevent the manufacturing efficiency from being impaired.
