PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base paint capable of maintaining the equal tensile stress at a high temperature to that at a temp. around room temperature and giving an elastic coated film which does not cause an appearance abnormality such as blistering or the like. SOLUTION: There is provided a water-base paint, the specimen for the elongation test made of which according to JIS A 6909 exhibits an elongation at 20 deg.C of at least 120% and a corresponding tensile stress of at least 10 kgf/cm2 and an elongation at 70 deg.C of at least 200% and a corresponding tensile stress of at least 10 kgf/cm2.
