PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition capable of imparting moistness to skin due to humectant effects possessed thereby, manifesting excellent beautifying and whitening effects due to an antityrosinase activity possessed thereby and providing white and beautiful skin by utilization thereof for suppression or treatment of pigmentation such as dermal stains, ephelides or dark skin. SOLUTION: The characteristic of this cosmetic composition is to contain Lonicerae Flos and/or an extract thereof. The Lonicerae Flos is a dried substance of a flower and/or a bud of one or more species of plants in Lonicera japonica Thunb. and its allied species.
