PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a surface treatment of parts used to positions required for corrosion resistance, etc., by performing a metal plating treatment of a fishing tackle made of an aluminum material, performing an ion plating treatment, then forming a coating film of metal nitride, etc., on the surface. SOLUTION: A metal plating treatment is performed on the surface of a product relating to a fishing tackle made of an aluminum material and an ion plating treatment is performed to form a coating film of a nitride, carbide or oxide of a metal on the surface of a product. Preferably, the product is an exterior member of a reel and the product is an exterior member of a fishing rod. The generation of a passive film of aluminum is prevented and then the ion plating is performed, thereby a stable coating film is formed.
