PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damper for an air suspension wherein a damping force adjusting system and the structure of a damper are simplified. SOLUTION: A relief valve comprising a leaf valve 6 is opposed to the ring- shaped window 4D of the upper face of the rod guide communicated with the upper chamber A of a cylinder, on the other hand, a push rod 8 is inserted into a bulkhead parting the upper chamber 9B of a ring nut 9 communicated with the gas chamber of a gas spring from the lower chamber 9C of the ring nut 9 which contains the relief valve and is communicated with a reservoir R, and the leaf valve 6 is energized from its back face by the differential pressure between the upper and lower chambers through the push rod 8 to control relief pressure. Thus, damping force is varied according to the pressure of gas spring corresponding to the load on the side of a car body. |
