PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sectional rack capable of placing a heavy article on a rack board and to simply and easily performable assembly or disassembly without using any machine tool. SOLUTION: This rack is composed of an wood rack board 1 boring plural through holes 1a at the outer peripheral edge part, plural support metal fittings 2 attached to the portions of respective through holes 1a on the rack board 1 and equipped with tapered cylinder parts 2a fitted to the through holes 1a and flange parts 2b continuously provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder parts 2a and abutted to the rear side of the rack board 1, plural struts 3 inserted to the cylinder parts 2a of respective support metal fittings 2 in idly fitting states while forming annular lock grooves 3a for each fixed interval along with a lengthwise direction on outer peripheral surfaces, and plastic half sleeves 4 freely attachably and detachably fitted onto the outer peripheral surfaces of respective struts 3, inserted and locked into the cylinder parts 2a of support metal fittings 2 so as to block the downward movement of the rack board 1. Then, the sleeve 4 has a lock projection 4a locked into the lock groove 3a of the strut 3 on its inner peripheral surface so as to block the axial movement of the strut 3, and its outer peripheral surface is tapered so as to be abutted on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder part 2a of the support metal fitting 2 in surface contact state.
