PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe lock opening and closing control system which uses a mobile communication terminal capable of accurately performing an authentication judgment. SOLUTION: A lock opening and closing control system comprises a means 21b which coverts, by a specified rule, data A transmitted from the lock opening and closing control system 7 having a means 20b which transmits and receives at least one of electromagnetic waves used for a mobile communication to a mobile communication terminal 1, a mobile communication terminal 1 having means 21a and 20a which convert the received data A to data B by the same rule as used in the system 7 and transmit it to a system, a means 11 which compares data C obtained by converting the transmitted data A in the system with the data B received from the mobile communication terminal 1 and, when they are coincided with each other, transmits signals, and a means 9 which receives the signals to control the opening and closing of a lock 12.
