PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a medicament capable of inducing apoptosis and helpful for the therapy of diseases due to the abnormality of an Fas/Fas ligand system by including a molecule having an antigen-binding region specific to an epitope preserved among Fas's of (non-)primates as an active principle. SOLUTION: This medicament is prepared by including a molecule such as a heavy chain polypeptide of formula I (wherein, FRH1 has 18-30 amino acids; CDRH1 is an amino acid sequence of formula II; FRH2 has 14 amino acids; CDRH2 is an amino acid sequence of formula III ; FRH3 has 32 amino acids; CDRH3 is an amino acid sequence of formula IV; FRH4 has 11 amino acids) or a light chain polypeptide of formula V (wherein, FRL1 has 23 amino acids; CDRLI is an amino acid sequence of formula VI; FRL2 has 15 amino acids; CDRL2 is an amino acid sequence of formula VII; FRL3 has 32 amino acids; CDRL3 is an amino acid sequence of formula WIII; FRL4 has 10 amino acids) respectively having an antigen-binding region specific to an epitope preserved among Fas's of primates such as a human and non-primates as an active principle.
