PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle parking device capable of easily parking bicycles and capable of arranging them closely. SOLUTION: A bicycle parking device is alternately and adjacently provided with a lower holding tool 10 for holding both a front wheel and a rear wheel at the same floor surface level and an upper holding tool 20 for holding the front wheel higher than the rear wheel standing on the floor surface level. The upper holding tool 20 slopes in order to guide the front wheel from the floor surface to the upper position. The space between the upper holding tool 20 and the lower holding tool 10 is set to a prescribed dimensions based on the shape of a bicycle main body in a plan-view. In the elevation-view, however, the space is set as follows: When a bicycle with a basket is parked on the upper holding tool 20, the bicycle should not hit another bicycle having smaller sizes than the prescribed ones and parking on the lower holding tool 10. Conversely, when a bicycle of smaller sizes than the prescribed ones is parked on the lower holding tool 10, it should not hit the bicycle with a basket parked on the upper holding tool 20. In the lower holding tool 10, the lower part of the front wheel tire is held in front and in rear, and right and left, while, in the upper holding tool 20, the lower part of the rear wheel tire is held/fixed in rear and right and left, forcing the bicycles on both upper and lower holding tools 10, 20 to stand by themselves.
