<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material which is flexible, adaptable for the shape of many kinds of articles, and easily and repeatedly recyclable by forming a connection part which is totally formed of a soft columnar body, and connected to incomplete ring parts whose both ends are openable/closable opening part to be a deformable shape where the incomplete ring parts at both ends is lapped thereon. SOLUTION: To use a cushioning material 10, a connection part 12 is folded in the vicinity of the axis 11C of incomplete ring parts 11 at both ends, and a pair of incomplete ring parts 11 are lapped thereon. In this condition, a pair of opening parts 13 of a pair of incomplete ring parts 11 are not lapped on each other, and a columnar space 15 closed in side view is generated in a center part of the lapped incomplete wing parts 11. When an article to be packed which is larger in diameter than the columnar space 15, for example, an interchangeable lens 20 for a single-lens reflex camera is inserted in the columnar space 15, the cushioning material 10 keeps the folded shape by the friction between the interchangeable lens 20 and the incomplete ring parts 11, and the interchangeable lens 20 can be protected.</p> |
