PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a disabled person on a wheelchair to go out by the cooperation of a caring person or by himself or herself. SOLUTION: A chain block 5 is hung at the center of an upper part in an elevating device for care which is placed on an outdoor earth floor being adjacent to the threshold of a house, the device consists of four leg bases 2 where an interval between the legs is larger than the width of the wheelchair and of a support base 14 where the wheelchair can be placed and whose height is equal to that of an entrance, one end of the support base 14 is inserted just under the chain block 5 and the other is fitted to the entrance. Or the support base 14 is reciprocatively moved in about 60 cm. Therefore, the support base 14 is provided with handrails and the four leg bases 2 are provided with a rocking stopper.
