PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the volume of a cooker while reducing the size thereof and to make clear the display of cooking while reducing the electric wiring by providing a cooking display part on the door and illuminating the display part with the light from a light source on the outside of the door. SOLUTION: When a dial operating section is operated, a microcomputer causes a light emitting diode 29 at a corresponding position to emit light. The light is conduced from a corresponding light conducting member 32 to another light conducting member 16 and then reflected from a reflecting part 18 to illuminate a corresponding display part 15 from the rear side. The display part 15 presents a fluorescent display where a cooking content (i.e., a cooking menu) is selected and the selected cooking is executed by operating a key operating part. Since the display part 15 is provided on the door 2, the operating panel 3 can be reduced in size and the cooker itself can be reduced in size. Further, display of cooking is simplified and can be judged clearly.
