PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve freedom design of thickness of a cylinder head gasket, and easily position shim plates in respect to substrates. SOLUTION: This cylinder head gasket 1 has an upper first substrate 2, a lower second substrate 3, and a pair of upper and lower first and second shin plates 6, 7 arranged therebetween. A full bead portion 2a expanded upward 2a is formed on the first substrate 2. A full bead portion 3a expanded downward is formed on the second substrate 3. A first bear portion 6a is formed on the first shin plate 6 along the sectional shape of the full bead portion 2a of the first substrate 2. A first bead portion 7a is formed on the second shin plate 7 along the sectional shape of the fill bead portion 3a of the second substrate 3.
