PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the frequencies of an aperture control signal by surely increasing a desired frequency band in a small-scaled circuit constitution. SOLUTION: This is a CCD camera signal processing system for operating aperture control processing for compensating the high frequency components of an image signal from a CCD camera. This system is provided with a vertical low pass filter 22 and a horizontal low pass filter 23 for generating a luminance signal from an image signal, a forward DCT(discrete cosine transformation) circuit 14 for generating an aperture control signal for transforming the image signal into frequencies, and for increasing the high frequency components on the frequency axis, multipliers 15-18, an inverse DCT circuit 19, a vertical low pass filter 20, and an adder 21 for adding an aperture control signal to the luminance signal. Also, the DCT and IDCT of plural systems can be operated in the constitution from the forward DCT 14 to the inverse DCT circuit 19.
