A process and device are provided for the continuous treatment of annual plants for obtaining paper pulp, in such a manner that the compound obtained in the bleaching vats is subjected successively to individual stages of drainage and transportation, for the subsequent actuation of pressing means and delivery thereof to a repulping section where the material, with a level of dryness of around 30%, is cut and shredded for its subsequent delivery to a group of belts which convey it to a subsequent conventional press section. <IMAGE>
