PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the used resin amount, the number of part items and manhours for insertion of a protective tube. SOLUTION: This terminal part is a terminal part provided in a terminal of an optical fiber cable 1 which contains a tape-like optical fiber core conductor 3 with plural optical fibers in a groove of a spacer 2, and of which the outside is covered with an external sheath. At first, the external sheath is removed in the terminal of the cable 1 to expose the spacer 2 and the core conductor 3, then a part ranging over from one portion of the exposed spacer 2 at the edge of the removal of the external seathing to one portion of the sheath not exposed is covered with a sleeve 6, a filling resin 8 is injected into the sleeve 6 to be cured, the exposed core conductor 3 is led out upto an outside of the sleeve 6 to connect respectively the optical fibers with optical fiber cords 4 prepared separately in its terminal, and one portion of the each fiber cord 4 is fixed to the exposed spacer 2 to be covered by a protective sleeve 10 ranging over from an upper side of the sleeve 6 to an upper side of a fixing part 9. |
