PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid operation valve assembly for controlling the motion of a valve accurately while lengthening the life of a valve seat. SOLUTION: A solenoid operation flow rate control valve assembly includes a valve plunger 14, a solenoid.actuator including a coil 32 and armature 54 and an armature over travel function 18 for moving the armature 54 continuously from the engage position based on the valve plunger 14 to a non-engage position, when the valve plunger 14 reaches a close position. The armature over travel function 18 includes an over travel energized spring for returning the armature 54 from the non-engaging position to the engaging position before the actuator coil is energized next.
