PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption when a winding operation means is left as is in the middle of winding film and to feed the film by a fixed amount when performing the winding operation again by the winding operation means. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a photointerrupter 63 for generating a signal at every time, when a roller rotated linked with the feed of the film in contact with the film fed by the rotation of a winding lever is rotated by a prescribed angle, a CPU 51 for detecting the feed amount of the film by counting output from the photointerrupter 63, and a midway detection switch 115 for detecting the rotation of the winding operation of the winding lever. When the winding lever is stopped in the middle of winding the film, the CPU 51 cuts off energizing the photointerrupter 63 after the lapse of the prescribed time. When in the middle of detection switch detects the rotation, the photointerrupter 63 is energized to coninue the counting of the output from the photointerrupter 63.
