<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black matrix convenient for direct color display, excellent in light shield ability and image reproducibility, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this black matrix for a color filter used for a display, there is a physical development center on a color filter board, and the black matrix is a silver film provided by dissolving a silver halide and in the physical development center receiving an image during development. This black matrix manufacturing method forms a photosensitive layer containing a silver halide emulsion on the color filter board having the physical development center, and develops the silver halide in a light irradiated part in the photosensitive layer, while dissolves the silver halide in a light not irradiated part, forms the silver film in the physical development center receiving the image during the development, and removes the photosensitive layer.</p> |
