PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find accurate SOC by correcting integrated SOC. SOLUTION: A battery ECU 14 detects an integrated SOC by integrating the battery currents detected by means of a current sensor 18. The ECU 14 also calculates a corresponding electromotive voltage V0soc from the integrated SOC. In addition, the ECU 14 calculates an electromotive voltage V0, based on the then current and voltage and current-voltage characteristics. When both the electromotive voltages V0soc and V0 become different from each other by a prescribed value or more, the ECU 14 corrects the integrated SOC by a prescribed value, so that the electromotive voltages V0soc and V0 may approach the electromotive voltage found from the current-voltage characteristics. |
