PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that the user can watch, especially, a continuous photographing scene without damaging the presence. SOLUTION: As for the image display device provided with a display means 1 capable of switching/displaying plural pieces of still image information recorded on a recording medium 6, the device is provided with a recording time information reading means 22 for reading the time information in recording of each piece of the still image information on the recording medium from the recording medium, and a display control means 14 for switching the still image information to be displayed on the display means based on the time information in recording of each of the still image information (for example, information on an elapsed time after the start of continuous photographing, time information) read by the means 22.
