PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a photographic condition at the time of photographing by a digital video camera(DVC) to a PC for managing and using it for the following photographing. SOLUTION: A PC 101 is connected through a 1394 serial bus 103 with a DVC 102. When the DVC operates photographing, the photographic condition is recorded with a video. The reproduced photographic condition information is transmitted to a PC, and stored in a memory 11. At that time, the photographic condition information is stored so as to be made correspond to arbitrary information such as a situation at the time of photographing so that the photographic information can be integrated into a library, and used for the following photographing.
