PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional antenna by providing slots on two surfaces facing each other of a hollow rectangular parallelpiped, providing at least one partitioning plate to partially partition two surfaces inside the rectangular parallelpiped and specifying length of a route between two surfaces to be formed inside the rectangular parallelpiped. SOLUTION: When power feeding signal is fed from a power feeding line to the slot 4a, radio wave is radiated from the slot 4a. The radio wave is radiated toward the outside and the inside of the rectangular parallelpiped 3 respectively. The radio wave radiated toward the inside of the rectangular parallelpiped 3 is regulated by each of the shielding plates 5a, 5b, 5c and propagated on the route to be detoured from each of holes 6a, 6b, 6c. The radio wave propagated for about 1/2 wavelength of electric length reaches the slot 4b by the route and is radiated from the slot 4b to the outside of the rectangular parallelpiped 3. Phases of the radio wave to be radiated from the slot 4a toward the outside of the rectangular parallelpiped 3 and the radio wave to be radiated from the slot 4b toward the outside of the rectangular parallelpiped 3 are different by 180 degrees.
