PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of certainly connecting and fixing between an end fringe part of a pole plate and a collector lead. SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with a generating element 1, wound or laminated via a separator, so that an end fringe part of one pole part is projected from the end fringe part of another pole plate and a collector lead 2 connected to the end fringe part. The collector lead 2 has a plurality of channel portions, formed by bending of metallic board, to pinch and bond the end fringe part. Thin wall part is formed at a part of the channel portion.
