PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of an AC generator for a vehicle in which a stator winding can be cooled effectively. SOLUTION: This stator of an AC generator for a vehicle is equipped with a stator core 22, a plurality of conductor segments constituting a stator winding, and insulators electrically insulating the conductor segments from the stator core 22. Two slant stretched parts 231f protruding from slots 25-1 and 25-2 are connected via a turn part 231c, and a terminal layer coil end is formed. Two slant stretched parts 232f are connected via a turn part 232c, and a middle layer coil end is formed. The respective turn parts 231c and 232c are arranged at positions shifted in the peripheral direction.
