PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a four-way valve, simplify its structure, and reduce costs by sharing a valve body with an accumulator and incorporating the switching mechanism of cooling/heating in the accumulator in a four-way valve for refrigeration cycle. SOLUTION: In cooling operation, a high-temperature/high-pressure refrigerant being discharged from a compressor is guided to a first conduit port 9 in a four-way valve, passes through a specific communication path, is discharged to a second conduit port 7, and is supplied to a radiator and a cooler. Then, a low-temperature/low-pressure refrigerant is discharged into the valve body through a third conduit port 8 and is returned to the compressor through a fourth conduit port 10. In this manner, the valve body of the four-way valve is shared with the accumulator, and the switching mechanism for cooling/heating including a rotary plate 5 as the valve body of the four-way valve is incorporated into an accumulator body, thus simplifying and miniaturizing the four-way valve and reducing its costs.
