PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the piezoelectric driven type fine displacement magnetic head which actualizes high track density. SOLUTION: This magnetic head actuator has a mechanism 2 which covers a piezoelectric element and/or a displacement enlarging mechanism and restrains displacement nearly perpendicular to a seek direction. In order to avoid the breakage of the piezoelectric element due to a shock, part of the displacement resticting mechanism is composed of a member providing buffering action. Further, part of the displacement restricting member is composed of a member which provides conductive action as to release electric accumulated charges of the piezoelectric elements generated when a chock is received.
