<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detector capable of accurately detecting a position of an object with a reduced noise component. SOLUTION: The object detector comprises a transmitting antenna 6 for transmitting an electromagnetic wave toward an underground buried object 8, a receiving antenna 10 for receiving the wave reflected from the object 8, a feedback amplifier 12 for feedback amplifying a received signal from the antenna 10, a sampling means 14 for sampling the feedback received signal, and a signal processing means 38 for processing the sampled received signal and calculating a position of the object. The amplifier 12 sequentially amplifies the signal during a predetermined period of one measuring cycle, thereby suppressing a noise component of the received signal.</p> |
