PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to correct a video stream in compliance with the MPKG not relying on intensive calculation. SOLUTION: A compressed video stream 10 having temporary redundancy (e.g. a video stream in compliance with the MPEG) is uncompressed in a non- compressive region expression (14). Then the stream in the non-compressive region expression can be corrected without substantially changing a spatial relation in the expression. The correction above includes addition of watermark to the non-compressive region expression, elimination of watermark from the non-compressive region expression, revision of watermark in the non-compressive region expression and adjustment of luminance and color matching in the non- compressive region expression. Then the stream in the corrected expression is re-compressed by using the same motion vector used to generate an original video stream 22. Thus, the stream in the non-compressive region expression can be re-compressed without the need for re-calculation of a new motion vector. |
