PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate color correction of a color scanner for which no huge amount of capacity is required. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by providing an image pickup part 10, an operation processing part 20, an exposing device 40 and a control part 50. In this case, the operation processing part 20 is composed of an image input means 21, a color data calculating means 22, a hue calculating means 23, a chroma calculating means 24, a color correction calculating means 25, an exposing value calculating means 26, an exposing value output means 27, a color data memory 31, a hue and chroma value memory 34 to store a hue value and a chroma value for one frame and a color correction value memory 33. Color data is calculated from an image for one frame, the hue value and the chroma value for one frame are calculated from the color data and then, the color correction for one frame is calculated by using the device.
