PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the possibility of a device failure by deterioration of a movable cable in the normally operating period of the device by providing a deterioration detecting cable and a disconnection detecting means near the position where the movable cable receives a stress most. SOLUTION: A movable cable 3 is internally provided with a movable cable deterioration detecting cable 4 easier to deteriorate than a movable cable 3 when the movable cable 3 is repeatedly bent by the movement of a stage or the like. One end of the deterioration detecting cable 4 is connected to a deterioration detection part 5. When the deterioration detection part 5 detects the cut of the deterioration detecting cable 4, it is judged that the deterioration of the movable cable is advancing to notify a user of the arrival of the time of replacement by display or alarm. According to this, the user can systematically determine a proper time to replace the movable cable during the normally operating time of the device before it is laid in the broken state.
