<p>The invention concerns a focusing device comprising a Luneberg lens comprising a homogeneous volume of dielectric material, characterised in that the dielectric material includes a homogeneous granular agglomerate of thermoplastic grains, at least a plurality of said grains being welded together by grain boundaries to maintain the volume in consolidated state. The invention is particularly applicable for lenses tracking moving satellites, of at least one geostationary satellite or for use in a Multi-point Multi-channel Distribution System (MDDS).</p> |
