PHASE CHANGING TYPE OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE: A phase changing-typed optical disk is provided to prevent an increase of a jitter value in a short wavelength light and to suppress a growth of a crystal lip of a recording film by adding a composite to a recording film. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(21) is made of a transparent ploy-carbonate having 0.6mm thickness and protects a protecting plate(27), the first and second dielectric substance films(22, 24), and a recording film(23). The first dielectric substance films(22) is made of a composite ZnS and SiO2. The first dielectric substance films(22) is formed on the substrate(21) by a deposition. The recording film(23) is made of an admixture of Ge-Sb-Te-Ti, and has an amorphous state or a crystalline state in accordance with a power of inputted laser beam and a cooling velocity. A uniform recording film is maintained by adding the Ti to the recording film(23) and miniaturing the crystal lip. A reflection film(25) is made of a material having a high reflection rate as an Al alloy(Al-Ti 1.5wt%) and is deposited on the second dielectric substance film(24). The reflection film(25) reflects a light inputted by being penetrated the substrate(21) and the recording film(23) toward the substrate(21). A protecting plate(27) is made of a disk and combined to the reflection film(25) by a joining layer(26). The protecting plate(27) prevents an oxidation of the reflection film(25) and maintains a total strength of a phase converting optical disk.
