PURPOSE: A catcher of a sliding door for a vehicle is provided to reliably perform a function of the door catcher by composing the door catcher with a main roller received a load of a sliding side door, to improve the reliability by removing an existing rattling event and to reduce a cost by using a guide roller with a plastic material. CONSTITUTION: A door catcher(12) is inclined anti-crosswise by the pulling force of a return spring(22) and a hanging groove(12a) formed in the door catcher(12) is removed from a hanging flap formed in a connecting flap of a catcher bracket(10). When a sliding side door is opened to fix the sliding side door in the opened state at a parking and a stopping in an inclined place, a main roller(76) supports the sliding side door by rolling with guiding of a floor(80) and a guide roller rolled horizontally is slid according to a trace of a sliding door rail. When the main roller(76) is crossed a roller guiding face of the door catcher(12) by rolling, the main roller(76) is fixed by hanging in the door catcher(12).
