PURPOSE: A heater mounting structure of ceiling mounted type air conditioner is provided to reduce noise and increase the air flow amount by directly mounting an electric heater on a drain pan for receiving the condensed water without using any bracket for supporting the heater. CONSTITUTION: A heater mounting structure of ceiling mounted type air conditioner includes a drain pan(56) mounted at a lower part of a heat exchanger(55) for discharging condensed water generated on the surface of the heat exchanger and a heater(61) mounted around the heat exchanger, wherein the heater is mounted on the drain pan to drop the condensed water formed on the heater surface down on the drain pan, wherein the drain pan is secured with a lower part of the heater and formed with a drain pipe(52b) for discharging the condensed water.
