PURPOSE: Shoes with the sliding preventing device are provided which have excellent durability and run smoothly. CONSTITUTION: The shoes is such that the depressed portion (14) is formed in the base (12) of a sole (10); a sliding preventing sheet (18) is hung to an elastic member such as a tensile coil spring within the depressed portion (14); a partial disposition cam (26) is fixed in the center of the axis (24) which intersects the depressed portion (14) and is supported to the base (10) to be capable of its both ends rotating; the partial disposition cam (26) contacts with an elastic member (32) such as the plate spring whose one end is fixed to the wall of the depressed portion (14); and a control handle (30) is fixed to the axis (24) which extends to the one side (28) of the sole (10). The sliding preventing sheet (18) is such that a plurality of the depressed grooves (36) are formed in the rim of the sliding preventing sheet (18), and a plurality of guide projections (40) corresponding to the depressed grooves (36) are formed in the inner circumference of the depressed portion (14).
