PURPOSE: An optical fiber fixing device is provided which fixes optical fibers or optical fibers to be connected to a plane optical waveguide to prevent the ends of the optical fibers from moving. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber fixing device includes a fixing member(20), position aligners, an adhesive, and a light source(50). A plurality of optical fibers(10) are contained in the fixing member. The position aligners are placed in front and rear of the fixing member to align the optical fibers located inside the fixing member. The adhesive is coated on the inner wall of the fixing member. The light source emits light that hardens the adhesive to fix the optical fibers aligned by the position aligners. The position aligners includes mount tables(35,45), brackets(31,46), jigs(30,40), a guide plate(41), and a glass plate(43).
