TUNING METHOD USED IN BOTH TV AND RADIO

PURPOSE: A tuning method used in both TV and radio is provided to listen/watch and output a TV broadcasting signal containing video and sound as well as an FM broadcasting signal by using prior equipment. CONSTITUTION: A tuning method used in both of TV and radio comprises steps of: sensing the FM broadcasting selection signal input by a user in a micom; setting a selected frequency in the micom in order to tune the selected broadcasting if the FM broadcasting selection signal is sensed; outputting the data corresponding to the selected frequency from the micom to a tuner; detecting the presence of a pilot signal contained in an SIF(sound intermediate frequency) in the micom; and processing a sound signal if the pilot signal is detected, and then outputting it through a speaker.
