DUAL OPTIC TRANSCEIVER OF DSLAM UPLINK SHELF INTERFACE BOARD

PURPOSE: A dual optic transceiver of DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) uplink shelf interface board is provided to improve the reliability and stability of system by detecting the error and transferring automatically to a spare optic transceiver in case that an error is generated in the optic transceiver. CONSTITUTION: A main optic transceiver(300) receives an optical signal for ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) cell from an ATM exchange. A central processing unit(200) generates a control signal to transfer an STM-1 line to a spare optic transceiver(400) if an interrupt is caused in a dual intermediation part(100). The dual intermediation part intermediates between the main optic transceiver(300) and the spare optic transceiver(400) according to the control of the central processing unit(200). The spare optic transceiver(400) transferred according to the control of the dual intermediation part(100) replaces the function of the main optic transceiver(400).
