PURPOSE: An SCSI(Small Computer System Interface) RAID(Redundant Array of Independent Disk) backplane board is provided to form an SCSI backplane board used commonly in a system using a processor such as an Intel processor or an Alpha processor. CONSTITUTION: A control portion(140) controls power supply to a multitude of SCSI disc and outputs a power supply signal according to a user's selection. The first SCSI disc portion(110,120) receives power according to a control signal of the control portion(140) and is operated by an SCSI signal of the first channel connection portion(100). The first channel connection portion(100) generates the SCSI signal. The first termination portion(130) terminates an operation of the first SCSI disc portion(110,120) according to a termination signal of the control portion(140). A bus switch portion(150) transfers the SCSI signal to another channel connection portion. The second channel connection portion(190) transfers a signal of the bus switch portion(150) to the SCSI discs. The second SCSI disc portion(170,180) receives power according to the control signal of the control portion(140) and is operated by an SCSI signal of the second channel connection portion(190). The second termination portion(200) terminates an operation of the second SCSI disc portion(170,180) according to a termination signal of the control portion(140).
