AUTOMATIC CONTROL DEVICE OF FONT SIZE IN TELEVISION

PURPOSE: An automatic control device of font size in television is provided to automatically control the font size in accordance with the watching distance by a viewer. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device of font size in television comprises a key input(10), a controller(20), a memory(30), a sensor(40) and a font size controller(50). Plural font size data corresponding distance data in prescribed range are stored in the memory(30). The sensor(40) is mounted on the front of a TV to capture any object and generates the sensing signal against the captured object. The font size controller(50) controls the size of displayed font on the basis of prescribed control signal. The controller(20) operates the distance data corresponding to the sensed signal and reads the font size data corresponding to the operated distance data.
