PURPOSE: A luminance level correction method in PDP TV is provided to control the luminance of a picture displayed by gamma correction considering a luminance reproduction characteristics of a PDP panel in order to be matched to input image signals. CONSTITUTION: A luminance level correction method in PDP TV comprises steps of: converting input image data into R, G, B data having predetermined level size, and then converting and outputting the R, G, B data into digital data of n bit in corresponding to the predetermined level; and converting the converted R, G, B digital data into gamma corrected R, G, B data corresponding to a look-up table to display them on a screen through a driver.
