PURPOSE: A real-time fault detecting apparatus of small computers system interface apparatus with fault generating signal and method thereof are provided for user to take a prompt action by informing the user of a fault at real-time. CONSTITUTION: A real-time fault detecting apparatus of small computers system interface(SCSI) apparatus(13) with fault generating signal comprises an initialized processor(8) executing an SCSI fault detector, an SCSI fault detector(9) transferring a message corresponding to a fault to a user(12), an SCSI order processor(10) executing an SCSI order and transferring the result, and an SCSI fault detecting interrupt processor(11) warning of the fault.
